After yet another rent increase and more issues with our Clapham premises, we put it out to the universe to find a new space. That very same evening by the wonder of Google, we discover a vast warehouse for sale, 10 minutes from our house. We are blown away by the size of it. It is dark, gloomy, cold and a wreck but we can see it’s huge potential. We have many sleepless nights deliberating whether it is viable, hours of designing layouts, doing budgets, wondering if anyone will ever loan us the money! It takes exactly a year from our first viewing to actually get the keys. It is a long and laborious legal and bureaucratic wrangle but we make it.
