Kath Roberts
With over 30 years experience of yoga, Kath has an extraordinary depth of knowledge of the yoga practice. This extensive wisdom, combined with her warmth, generosity and innate humility, make her a particularly unique and special teacher.
Kath’s teaching is defined by a precise sense of Iyengar alignment. She fuses many influences in her teachings, creating a rich and informed approach to yoga. She began with Sivananda in the 1980s before immersing herself in both the Ashtanga and Iyengar practices. Her formal training includes Iyengar Teacher Training Course, Yoga Therapy Diploma and a three year Teacher Training course with Graeme Northfield. She has also worked closely with world-renowned teachers Dona Holleman and Clive Sheridan, who have greatly influenced her yoga and style of teaching. Kath has been senior teacher at the Shala (Sangam) since 2003.
