The founder of The Shala, Gingi Lee, opened his first yoga studio in Battersea in the late 1990s and at the time was one of very few yoga instructors in the Greater London area. He has been instrumental in propagating yoga in London and the UK, having taught tens of thousands of students and trained hundreds of teachers who have studied with him since the Shala’s inception. The School offers 200 and 300 hour programmes plus 20+ CPD training modules.
