Carla blends together considered and nourishing postures and practices, as well as giving the opportunity for the body to feel strong. Her younger years in performing contribute to her sequences adding playfulness and creativity.

Pregnancy, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
Carla fell in love with the vibrancy and hustle and bustle of London whilst training to be an actress in her twenties. Practising yoga became a non-negotiable during this time as it started to make huge differences to her well-being and sense of self. She completed her 200hr Hatha Yoga Training with yogahaven in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since.
Her classes are creative and mindful with great focus on the felt sensation of the poses.
After completing a 300hr Advanced Teacher Training under the leadership of Anna Ashby and Jean Hall (amongst others), she started to feel more aligned with her preferred way of teaching which is slower, but still strong! She has also trained in pre and postnatal under the teaching of Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Sally Parkes.
Nourishing women at the various stages of life has become of great importance to her, and is integral to her purpose as a teacher, especially since becoming a Mum herself. Carla has taught at various studios in London, has led retreats, taught in offices and online during the pandemic, guest teaches on yoga teacher mentorship programmes, teaches yoga teacher trainees and is a Lead Teacher at Hotpod Yoga. Helping others to deepen their yoga knowledge and practice has become a great joy as it combines her love of people with her passion for the yoga teachings. She feels honoured to be able to do this work.
