Slow Flow Yoga Class

This gentle slow flow yoga class is suitable for anyone and everyone looking for a Friday wind down, from beginners and seniors to more experienced practitioners looking to access a place of deep rest, restoration and relaxation.
The focus of this class is on slowing down, regaining connection between the mind and physical body through the breath and finding inner peace and stillness. The class will pull on various influences sometimes including meditation, breathwork and even bodyrolling and qigong.
We will stretch the whole physical body in a gentle and nurturing way and the emphasis will be on stilling the mind to encourage deep relaxation and inner calm. Slowing down physical movement in a mindful way will slow the mind encouraging you to release stress and be in the present moment.
Yoga maximises body tone, encourages weight loss, detoxifies and increases all-round health, flexibility, strength and balance. It is a moving meditation which results in calmness and clarity. The result is a dramatic increase in energy, a stronger immune system and a sense of physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
