Flow Yoga Class

Yoga maximises body tone, encourages weight loss, detoxifies and increases all-round health, flexibility, strength and balance. It is a moving meditation which results in calmness and clarity. The result is a dramatic increase in energy, a stronger immune system and a sense of physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
These are accessible flowing classes rooted in the practices of Ashtanga (Astanga) Vinyasa or Vinyasa Flow. By moving from posture to posture with a linking vinyasa, the body is realigned in preparation for the next posture and the body’s internal heat is increased. Strength, flexibility, grounding and stamina are enhanced. These energising yoga classes are for those working at beginner or intermediate level with variations of postures being given to accommodate mixed abilities. The focus is on establishing the key foundations of yoga:
- synchronising breath to movement
- deep meditative relaxation process
- building internal core strength
- building strength and flexibility
- specific detail on alignment
- understanding the polarity of grounding and lifting
