Yin Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation Workshop | Turning the Three Wheels
Saturday 31 January 2026 | 2:00 - 4:30 pm | Emma Peel | £35
In this midwinter gathering, we will explore the subtle river of life that flows within – the currents of Qi, breath, and awareness – through the three great energy
centres known as the Lower, Middle, and Upper Dantiens.
We will turn the three wheels of body, breath, and mind through a gentle blend of Yin Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation.
Each phase invites us to meet a different depth of our being:
- Lower Dantien — grounding and vitality, awakening the foundational river
of life energy. - Middle Dantien – opening the heart, inviting emotional clarity, and
allowing Qi to circulate freely through the torso. - Upper Dantien — cultivating clarity of mind, intuition, and the luminous
energy of consciousness.
These techniques are simple yet, are in themselves a path that leads us into the living landscape of our own body, breath, and consciousness. As we move and breath together, we cultivate the ability to see, feel, and listen from within, attuning to the subtle movements of mind, breath, and the life around us.
At the Upper Dantien, we will explore turning the Great Wheel, and it will be here that Meditation and Pranayama will be accompanied by gentle bowls moving in and around the body, inviting vibration to be felt deeply. After the sound, we rest in silence, letting the inner river continue, fully integrated.
To close our time together, Emma will guid a short sound journey — using a simple set of sound tools – a gentle gong, bowl and two chimes. After allowing the vibrations to resonate through the body, we rest in silence. This final pause offers
space for reflection, integration, and an intimate encounter with your own inner river.
This workshop is suitable for all levels and abilities.
Please wear comfortable clothing and inform Emma privately of any injuries or conditions at the start of the session.
