Ben Wolff and Michelle Mathias from the Breathing Institute, offer up their magic First Aid Kit for Stress, which will teach you quick and effective techniques to shrink your stress, promote positive mood and achieve peace of mind as your baseline. These can be practised anywhere, from waiting for the kettle to boil to sitting at your computer. 

These techniques are based on the science of the breath, neuroscience, biochemistry, physiology and clinical hypnotherapy.

  • how to stabilise in peace of mind as a baseline for your life

  • shrinking the building 
  • the Archer’s Breath 
  • how changing your mindset around stress can change how it affects you

More about Michelle Mathias
Michelle Mathias is a founding member of The Breathing Institute, and a yoga teacher. She teaches slow flow, yin and nidra yoga. Formerly a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the NHS, and now a home educator for the past seven years to two children, Michelle well understands the impact that stress can have, and has personally used these techniques with great success. She is passionate about teaching people the skills to make themselves feel better using techniques that are the most useful, rapidly effective, are easily learnt, and that are safe for everyone.
