Valentine's day gives us an opportunity and permission to show not only love for each other, also love for ourselves, and maybe love for having fun in a way that is so often denied us when we become grown up adults.

Whilst providing Help For Creativity, and Blocks of all kinds, Ben and Sherene have put together a joyous workshop that reaches even those who (like Ben) draw like a 5 year old. Indeed, you might say it is particularly for people like.... well, you.

Picasso said it took him 4 years to paint like Raphael and a lifetime to draw like a child. Well, we're skipping the Raphael bit and going straight to where the fun, enthusiasm, and passion has been lying dormant for too long for too many.

Both the non-artists and the artistically inclined within the Breathing Institute and Breathing School community have been doing daily drawings to the 6-second breath, of the wonders they would wish to literally come true, in a style and manner of a stick figure version of themselves, for the last few months, with stunning results. Many wonders have indeed come true and lives have been changed in this most surprising of joyous techniques.

This and other drawing and making games to the breath will be covered in a first of its kind workshop accessible to literally anyone who can hold a pen or pencil.

“I heard a great story recently, I love telling it, of a little girl who was in a drawing lesson, she was 6 and she was at the back, drawing, and the teacher said this little girl hardly paid attention, and in this drawing lesson she did. The teacher was fascinated and she went over to her and she said, “What are you drawing?” and the girl said, “I’m drawing a picture of God.” And the teacher said, “But nobody knows what God looks like.” And the girl said, “They will in a minute.” Ken Robinson. "The Element: How finding your passion changes everything"

Sample practices you can typically expect us to be playing around with:

  1.  Meditative Drawing to 6/6 Breathing  - it's thrillingly easy and deep!
  2. Stick Figure Wonders, Ben Style
  3. Sacred Geometry around the Body's Lines of Breath
  4. Your Personal Key to Creativity,  Sherene Style
  5. Fortune Telling with the making of The Salt and Pepper Cellar
  6. Rainbow Breathing, Rainbow Drawing for Rainbow Living

It's all so beautifully accessible, even Ben can do it, and he was put in remedial drawing as a child, so bad was he! Come and have fun and unblock yourself this Heart's Day. Just for the love of it and the love of life.
