Mindfulness: Cultivating Happiness

Happiness as most of us know it is a state of being that comes and goes very quickly. In general humans experience their everyday existence through pangs of fear, anxiety, worry and negativity.
This workshop will explore how we define happiness and how we can strengthen it. By developing our awareness, we can choose how to navigate day to day events, emotions and thoughts. Strengthening these attitudinal muscles allows us to create a space where happiness becomes the way and governs our innate state of being. Our practices will focus on mindful awareness, cultivating gratitude, nourishing self-kindness, fomenting joy and awe, and enhancing connection.
Although these are individual mindfulness workshops themed each month, we encourage students to attend as many as possible to fully engage with the practice and incorporate it in your daily life.
