Yoga Teacher Training | 300-hour Advanced Course

Courses are usually held IN STUDIO at the Shala in South London, with some options for VIRTUAL LIVESTREAM attendance.

Our unique, advanced yoga teacher training allows you to create a personalised 300-hour modular based advanced teacher training course, where you can further your studies with a team of inspiring teachers as and when you have the time, funds and inclination.

The flexible structure of our advanced trainings means there is just one mandatory core module training and then you can choose from a selection of 1 to 6 day teacher training courses IN STUDIO at The Shala, HYBRID or VIRTUAL livestreamed. You need to have already completed a Yoga Alliance accredited 200 hour course and then all hours accrued from individual modules are gathered towards a 300-hour certification, from which you can claim RYT-500-hour status. Each module is also a certified stand-alone course, should you decide not to go for full 500-hour status.

This diverse and flexible programme will give you the opportunity to continue your education and delve deeper into specialist topics d of your choice, creating an advanced portfolio to master yoga teaching as a life path, career and practice. If you have taken any courses with Yoga Treat your hours may be able to accrue towards the 300 hrs. Get in touch to find out more.

    Benefits of Becoming a 500-RYT

After completing a 200 hr-teacher training, most teachers are still hungry for more knowledge and find themselves yearning to further their understanding of all the many layers that are so integral to the practice of yoga. By completing The Shala's 300-hr course, you can delve deeper into the areas of the practice that you are personally interested in and gain skills and knowledge to help you create a meaningful and purposeful vocation. The 300-hour training will allow you to gain a 500-hr certificate accredited by the Yoga Alliance (200 hr + 300 hr = 500 hr certificate). This will strengthen your credibility and expand your knowledge as a teacher. The bespoke nature of the course allows you to ignite the areas that you feel passionate about teaching to students, helping you to create a sustainable and rewarding life path as a yoga teacher.
