Teacher Training Open Day

Find out more about The Shala School of Yoga's next 200-hour teacher training programme. Described by our graduates as 'transformational', 'life changing' and 'mind-blowing', this carefully crafted year-long programme is led by an exceptionally talented and experienced teaching team.

Teacher Training Open Day

March 2020 will see the the start of our next one-year teacher training programme offered to a select number of students each year. This unique programme brings together some of the UK’s most well respected and inspirational teachers to offer an exciting yoga teacher training foundation with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance accreditation. It will also offer the opportunity to be a part of a thriving London yoga studio and community.

Leading 2020s programme is be the founder of the Shala, Gingi Lee, who has taught, trained and inspired many British and international Ashtanga yoga teachers over the last two decades, and Kath Roberts, a hugely experienced senior teacher trained in Iyengar, Sivananda and Ashtanga. Together they bring with them over 50 combined years of teaching experience. The course will also draw on the expertise of an inspiring team of teachers including Ruth Westoby, Melanie Cooper, Mark Kan, Norman Blair and Hamish Hendry.

We invite those interested in applying to come and find out more about the course. The afternoon will be an opportunity to visit the Shala if you haven’t already, meet the lead teachers, learn more about the course and the application process and discuss any questions you may have. Full details, prices and dates for the course can be found here.
