Feel good with massage and essential oils rolled into one neat package for maximum loveliness.
Aromatherapy massage may help you with aches, address feelings of anxiety and tension, aid general wellness, reduce stress and so help with the ability to cope, relax and sleep.
Aromatherapy treatment combines essential oils (extracted from plants), such as lavender oil or peppermint oil, with various massage techniques to create a multifaceted treatment.
What is Aromatherapy Massage?
Essential oils are diluted into massage oil and are applied to the skin as a massage medium where they are absorbed through the skin and inhaled. Both of these routes of administration are safe if essential oils are used in the correct quantities by a trained professional. Inhalation affects the limbic system, the part of central nervous system which deals with memory and emotion. Massage allows the oils to be absorbed into the blood stream, and the massage itself affects the nervous system. Relaxation or stimulation of the nervous system depends upon which aromatherapy oils and massage techniques are used.
The goal of the Aromatherapist is to assess you and create a bespoke blend. By looking at the therapeutic properties of essential oils and massage oil we can create blends for each individual.
