Core Module for 300-hour Teacher Training Programme | Hybrid

Sat-Sun 11-12 September, 9-10 October & 6-7 November |  VIRTUAL LIVESTREAM & IN-STUDIO

This 60-hour core module is central to our exciting 300-hour programme providing a practical and inspiring foundation to the programme. It is the only compulsory module on our programme and you are free to choose all other modules, effectively creating your own tailor-made 300-hour course based on your own passions – find out more about the whole entire programme here

You can do the core at any stage of your training, so if you want to start with any of the other trainings you can. We do recommend that you do the core early on in your journey especially if you are a new teacher as it can help students navigate through what they may want to study as part of the programme.

Course Overview

The core module is broad in scope, touching on a wide range of topics to help solidify your teachings, as well as spark new areas of interests. The course is designed to deepen your knowledge, support you to evolve as a teacher and help you choose your path for further specialist training. Many of the topics we offer within this core module are subjects that you may then choose to study in more depth as modules on our 300-hr training. We generally recommend doing the core module early on, but you can opt to complete this module at any point.

The course is led by Melanie Cooper and Gingi Lee, with appearances from numerous other teachers from our teaching faculty including Norman Blair, Barrie Risman, Ruth Westoby, Ben Wolff, Jennie Wadsten and Matthew Clark & Caroline Shola Arewa.

Please click the pink button below if you are ready to apply for the core and it will take you to a short application form. You can also do this through the Application Form and Process button at the bottom of the webpage.
