Matt Gill

Matt is a thoughtful, sensitive and dedicated yoga teacher who takes inspiration from mindfulness, tai chi and qi gong. His classes embrace a playful flowing vinyasa sequence guided by introspective enquiry and the relationship between breath and movement.

Vinyasa Flow & Ashtanga Yoga Teacher

Intrigued by the physicality of the practice, Matt first discovered yoga on a trip to India, an experience that left a deep and lasting impression. Once back in the UK, Matt continued his exploration of the practice and yoga is now an integral part of his daily life, along with his mindfulness practice.

Since that initial introduction, Matt has practiced ashtanga yoga with a number of leading teachers including David Swenson and Philippa Asher, he also practices a mindful style of vinyasa flow yoga, tai chi and qigong, and is committed to a daily meditation practice.

Matt is a fully accredited British Wheel of Yoga teacher and has been a mentor to students on the triyoga teacher training program. He feels very lucky to share this practice with others and to help them discover the benefits and joys of yoga for themselves.
