Ashtanga Yoga & Vinyasa Flow Teacher

Rachel is a practicing yoga teacher, movement and soft tissue therapist, teaching since 2007 and working clinically since 2009. 

Her journey of yoga started in 2001, which led her to travel to India in 2005 where she spent a combined 2 years studying and completing teacher trainings in Sivananda Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at Brahmani Yoga in Goa. In 2009 she completed her BTEC Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy. Rachel has continued to further her studies and education adding, Yoga Nidra, Gyrokinesis, Anatomy in Motion and NKT to her therapeutic skill set with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga being the continuous thread throughout. 

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and its philosophy is firmly rooted in her personal practice: a practice that has deepened greatly as she continues to discover the intricacies and the possibilities of human potential. Rachel combines her knowledge of human movement, biomechanics and anatomy guiding you on your path of self-discovery. She is forever curious, never stops learning for the betterment of herself and the people she works with. She teaches from the heart with enthusiasm, warmth and humour. 

Rachel continues to work with people clinically and within the classroom, working with a wide variety of different people from those who need help with rehabilitation from injury, from the young to the elderly.
