Dynamic Yoga (Jivamukti, Dharma, Rocket) | Level 2

Uplifting and energising, our Dynamic Level 2 classes will expand the horizons of your Yoga practice, exploring new postures and sequences. Through creatively choreographed sequences you will build strength, stamina and flexibility. Expect variations on traditional poses including vinyasas, twists, balancing poses, backbends and inversions, all done to music to help you get into your flow.

Depending on the teacher, our Dynamic Level 2 classes include influences from Jivamukti, Rocket and/or Dharma styles of yoga and are suitable for intermediate level yogis with options for the more advanced. Combining strong poses with a sprinkling of meditation and relaxation, you will leave these classes a more positive, healthier version of you.

Our yoga classes are usually taught in a high-heat (but not excessively hot) environment at around 23–25ºC, which is ideal for safely encouraging flexibility and allowing a gentle detoxification process.

 

Experience of yoga is required, along with a reasonable level of fitness, adequate core strength and some understanding of yogic breathing.

  • If you are suffering/have suffered from a medical condition (including heart condition, chest pains, dizziness, high blood pressure) or a serious injury, it is essential you first consult your doctor before joining classes. Please then discuss this with us before booking so we can advise you on a personalised programme. 
  • Minor health issues and injuries should be discussed with your teacher before the class. Please arrive 10 minutes early to discuss.
  • Pregnant women of 14+ weeks may join Level 2 classes if they have practiced yoga previously – please notify the teacher as some modifications will be required and the teacher will advise you accordingly. 
  • This class is dynamic and is generally not appropriate for pregnancy. Speak to the teacher if you are unsure if it is suitable for you.
  • Post-natal women may join this class from 3-6 months if they have practiced yoga previously and have adequate core strength. We recommend starting with Post-Natal Pilates from 6 weeks
