Our Easter retreat (17 - 22 April) with Gingi Lee takes us back to EcoYoga on the gorgeous west coast of Scotland. Here we will enjoy invigorating ashtanga yoga practices in the morning with blissfully relaxing afternoons of Yamuna bodyrolling – an incredible combination for body and soul. Throw Japanese-style outdoor bathing, exquisite vegetarian food, fresh air and peaceful sleeps in luxurious king-size beds into the mix, and this retreat really is the perfect antidote to fast-paced, stressful modern-day living.
EcoYoga was set up by our friends Rachel and Nick by Loch Awe. The centre is truly committed to sustainable eco-living. The studio echos with the sound of the nearby stream which powers the turbine; both this and the solar panels provide unlimited hot water for the outdoor bathing. Guests have access to a hot tub in a glass roofed dome which is a perfect spot for nighttime stargazing. There is also a sauna, cold plunges and two forest baths. It is easy to lose hours soaking in the bath by the waterfall where you can dip into icy waters for extra immune-boosting benefits. Read what the Guardian had to say about our previous retreat at EcoYoga here.
Our retreat runs from 17 - 22 April 2019. For more information on prices and bookings please go to EcoYoga’s website.
Please note: all participants will need to bring two black Yamuna balls plus one gold ball. These are available online or at a reduced price directly from the Shala. Find out more about Yamuna Bodyrolling and it’s therapeutic benefits from Gingi’s Blog here.
