Welcome Back Michaela
We have enticed the lovely Michaela Clarke back to London over the summer months to cover Gingi's classes. Michaela has been teaching for 25 years and taught at the Shala from 2014 to 2017. Her vibrant classes intertwine upbeat asana practice with an abundance of yogic wisdom and an effervescent sense of humour. They are consistently soulful, interesting and infused with her infectious laughter.
Early Morning Classes
We are now offering pre-work weekday classes every day except Monday (which will be coming soon!).
One Hour Express Classes
Need to fit in some yoga before work? Our express all levels led classes with Gingi Lee are now starting at 7:30am on Wednesdays and Fridays. The perfect way to get your early morning yoga fix.
Early Morning Mysore classes
Tuesdays and Thursdays now run from 6.30 - 8.30am to allow more flexibility in practice time. You can start and finish at any time within this.
These are small group "self practice" classes which allow Gingi to individually work with you on specific needs. He is now regularly using bodyrolling techniques to help students with injuries and restrictions.
Please keep your eye on our schedule over the quieter summer months as it is subject to change depending on demand. A few changes to note:
• Sunday Mysore is now starting earlier at 10.45am
• Thursday evening Pilates - these classes will be merged over the summer
• Mindfulness is restarting in September after undergoing a transformation into our new Shala Sanctuary!
Our new pregnancy class will be led by highly experienced teacher Vera Dubrovina. Vera teaches with wisdom and calm, using her extensive knowledge of yoga and as a trained Doula to support her students to make the best choices during pregnancy and labour.
Our Wednesday class with the lovely Alexa Dean is now for both mid and late pregnancy, and runs for 90 minutes 19:00 - 20:30.
