Full Moon Gong Meditation

The healing and transformational vibrations of the gong take us on a meditative journey, aiding stress, releasing emotional blockages, increasing prana, stimulating the glandular and the parasympathetic nervous systems and quietening the mind.

Full Moon Gong Meditations

In South London

Monthly Full Moon Gong Meditations allow us to honour the cyclical nature of the moon together. As the lunar energy increases from the New Moon towards the Full Moon, perfect conditions are created for planting seeds, launching new ideas and to really consider the qualities we want to grow in our lives.

During the Full Moon Gong Meditation's, there will be a seated meditation, incorporating mantra, pranayama and mudra to prepare the mind and body for the healing vibrations of the Gong. Then lying down in relaxation an affirmation (sankalpa) can be acknowledged during the led practice of Yoga Nidra, which will lead into the Gong Bath; inviting the seeds of our intentions to grow and manifest. Just bring your presence and willingness to let go and surrender, allowing the healing properties of the Gong to revive your heart and spirit.

Lila's passion for playing the Gong began around 2012. The gong is an integral part of Kundalini Yoga and is frequently used as a powerful healing tool to relax. She has been offering New & Full Moon Gong Bath Meditation workshops regularly since 2015. She weaves her understanding and experience of relaxation techniques, pranayama, yoga nidra Kundalini Yoga and mantra meditation into the Gong sessions.

The Gong strengthens the parasympathetic nervous system, tunes up the glandular system and slows the brain waves down, creating sound conditions for deep relaxation and healing. The Gong also has an accumulative healing effect on the mind, body and spirit, inviting clarity, vibrancy, intuition and awareness to resonate within our being.

Lila has been singing in the New Age/Mantra music genre as one half of the duo Illumina for the last 10 years, they have three albums to their name.
